Heavy bouts of drinking can result in an individual experiencing a condition that is commonly referred to as a"hangover", which may include headache, nausea, shakiness, and sometimes vomiting. This condition is due partly to alcohol poisoning and partly to the body's reaction to withdrawal from alcohol. There is currently no effective cure for this condition beyond refraining from heavy alcohol consumption.
